Low Child to Adult Ratio
The child to adult ratio at LFNS is never greater than 5 to 1. This helps ensure that the school is safe and that children are never without close supervision.
Parents Play an Active Role
Our school is a co-op and that means that the parents are integral to its administration and daily operation. This allows parents to have a hands-on role in their child's development. It also means your child is always surrounded by parents who have children at the school and are invested in its safety and success.
Play-Based Learning
LFNS follows a play-based strategy for learning and provides both structured situations and unstructured play where children are allowed to make their own decisions and are able to begin establishing independence.

We are located at the corner of Riverside Dr and Los Feliz Blvd, near the 5 and the 2 freeways, making Los Feliz Nursery School easily accessible to Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Atwater, Glendale, Eagle Rock, Glassel Park, Cypress Park, Highland Park, and other surrounding neighborhoods.
